Our Mission

To provide liberal and practical education for all NMSU students in order to enhance the quality of their lives and their careers.
To sustain programs of research and creative endeavors in the arts, the humanities, the sciences, and the social sciences in order to advance knowledge and understanding, to maintain a strong educational program, and to improve the quality of life.
To Provide service to the community and the state in order to enhance the quality of life and to improve the cultural and educational opportunities of the people of New Mexico.
