When Jeremy Calder completed high school, he got a job and didn’t consider going to college. Now, the New Mexico State University graduate has a bachelor’s in individualized studies, with minors in Spanish and German, and is attending Stanford University this fall on a full five-year scholarship to complete his Ph.D. in linguistics.
