Kim Baranowski

In 2011, Kim Baranowski was recognized as an Outstanding Alumni by the College of Arts and Sciences. This past May, Kim graduated with her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her dissertation was entitled “The Experiences of Mental Health Practitioners Working with Undocumented Immigrants from Mexico Along the U.S./Mexico Border.”

Kim finished her doctoral training as a Clinical Psychology Intern at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in June, and has since begun her postdoctoral fellowship at the Addiction Institute of New York at Mount Sinai-Roosevelt Hospital, the largest comprehensive treatment center in New York City specializing in the treatment of substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric disorders.
