In 2024, we had $26,270,851 in research expenditures (up from $22,954,284 in 2023).
In addition to high caliber investigator-initiated research in a variety of disciplines, we are also the home of the NIH-funded NM-INBRE grant, the NIH-funded Partnership for the Advancement of Cancer Research grant, and the Apache Point and Sunspot Observatories. Many of our faculty also have long-standing collaborations with National Labs.
